Do you want to learn to communicate in Spanish and learn about its culture? This course offers socials skills and cultural and linguistic knowledge to begin and improve communication in a Spanish context. Level: basic or with very basic knowledge.

Do you want to improve your communication skills and cultural knowledge of Spanish? This course offers a deepening on its culture through its knowledge and social and linguistic skills of Spanish. Level: an approximate intermediate level is required.

Important Information and Frequently Asked Questions
Enrolment requirements. Students must be 14 years old by 31st December 2020.
Enrolment vacancies. Enrolment vacancies that remain available after the enrolment period has closed can be assigned to interested students up until the courses begin.
Face-to-face enrolment: we are waiting for instructions from the Department of Education regarding the possibility of opening our school for bureaucratic procedures. if it is eventually possible, we will inform you through our webpage regarding the set days for the face-to-face enrolment in the secretary's office. Precisely because we cannot guarantee its opening, it is important for students to attached the required documents when carrying out the online enrolment (NIE or passport, certificate of language level, document accrediting free enrolment or enrolment with special conditions).
Free enrolments or special case enrolments. Those entitled to free enrolment or enrolment with special conditions must enrol directly prior to stating the course and bring all necessary documentation. If this is not done, the enrolment will be cancelled automatically.
In the case of minors the corresponding signed authorization documents need to be attached during the online enrolment process.
Level and Level Test. Beginners and students who cannot verify their level with certification from another school are required to do a level test after completing the online enrolment. After doing the level test, the school will assign your course according to your level. This level test will consist of multiple choice questions, a listening and a writing. Students may be called to sit an oral test if the coordinator regards it as necessary to fine-tune the level of the students. The oral test will be online and students will be called to sit it on a specific day and time via email or telephone. We inform that there is a time limit of 5 calendar days to do the online test after completing the online enrolment. Those people enroling from 15th to 24th June must do the level test the same day.
You will be able to consult your level the previous week before the course starts in the same webpage where you took the online test with your registration number.
Refund of fees. Once the course has started there is no refund of fees paid.
Enrolment Raffle. There is NO enrolment raffle for summer courses. Enrolment is assigned based on order of enrolment (first come-first served).
Class size. Classes have a minimum size of 12 students and a maximum size of 25 students.
Evaluation. Summer courses are formally evaluated and students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate with grade. Students who have attended 80% of the classes but have not successfully completed the requirements of the course will receive a certificate of attendance.
Relationship of summer courses to official courses (courses given during the regular academic year). Completion of summer school courses does not give students enrollment preference for official course given during the regular academic year.
Credits for university students. Some universities recognize summer intensive course at the EOI as credits in university elective courses. One should confirm with his/her university whether these are recognized credits at your university or not.
Course Content.The course content of each summer language course is adapted from the EOI curriculum but they are not the exact equivalent of the regular academic year courses which are 130 hours. . A courses correspond to the first part of the level and B courses correspond to the second part of the level.
